We are in the middle of Chanukah and Christmas is fast approaching, so why are people in such a bad mood? I like all the holidays. The different foods, lights, traditions are really exciting. But, when you are in a store or driving, it seems that people are in too much of a hurry or angry and it's just plain dangerous. We all need to slow down, take a deep breath, be thankful for what we have. Maybe the holidays will be more joyous for all. Just a thought

Holidays

This is perfect. The whole "Black Friday" thing just disgusts me. Only in America would we have a holiday about being grateful for what we have and put a day devoted to greed and commercialism right after said holiday. How do people tolerate this? I simply don't understand. Seth MacFarlane apparently killed off the character Brian, before bringing him back, to remind us that the holidays were about appreciating the ones we take for granted, not about getting the new seven hundred dollar laptop you've wanted for the last three months. And frankly, I think that's a message that our society needs to hear more often.
