Broken Art

At first I thought this was a joke, but no.  Maximo Caminero, an artist from Florida, was caught on film just casually picking up and smashing a vase, by Chinese artist, Ai Weiwei ( not sure how or why it is valued a $1 million, but that's art for you).  You have to ask why he did it, right.  That was his way of protesting the fact that the Perez Art Gallery ( located in Miami) only shows international art. Well that's a sure fire way to get his work exhibited!
